My WILD Why
WILD matters because it represents community, visibility, mentorship, and collaboration for women in an industry where they are largely underrepresented and overlooked. Early in my career, I was steered away from industrial brokerage and leasing into a more female-dominated role, as I was told it was the only viable path for growth. While I value all my real estate experience, my true passion has always been setting and driving a business plan, negotiating deals, and leading a team. Without the support of a few key mentors and a strong drive to pursue my goals, I never would have made the shift. WILD matters because no woman should be told “you can’t” when her skills, drive, and vision clearly say otherwise. The right mentorship and bold leadership can change the trajectory of an entire career.
“Lift as you climb” is my favorite quote because it’s a principle I carry into every part of my life whether it’s in business, in my community, and even with my kids at home. For me, it’s the only way. We are all allowed to pursue our passions, have ambition, and there’s nothing wrong with wanting to climb to the top. But lifting others as we climb not only enhances our own opportunities for success, it makes the journey more meaningful and a lot more fun.
