WILD is Here - and We’re Turning Up the Volume
“Women amplified.” That’s the headline we love to see, and today Northern Nevada Business Weekly did just that, recognizing the launch of WILD (Women in Industrial, Logistics and Development) and highlighting our mission to elevate women across the industrial landscape. We’re grateful for the coverage and proud to be mentioned alongside another group lifting women’s voices in our region.
Why WILD, Why Now
Women have been here all along - running projects, leading teams and shaping the industrial landscape. But visibility hasn’t always matched the impact. WILD is here to change that. We’re creating a space where connection, mentorship and education fuel real career momentum. As NNBW noted, WILD is built to amplify women’s voices and carve new paths into leadership for both seasoned pros and emerging talent.
What You Can Expect
We’re building real programming around what our members ask for most - visibility, know-how and a stronger network. Early events include mixers, behind-the-scenes looks at development and practical workshops that demystify technical topics like power distribution, with leadership work baked in. Membership options meet you where you are: associate, professional, executive and a virtual option for those outside the region.
Community Over Competition
We’re also glad to share the page with SNOW, a new construction-focused organization that’s bringing more women into the trades and shining a spotlight on career paths many young women don’t get to see. Rising tides lift all boats, and we’re grateful to be recognized alongside a group that’s pushing in the same direction.
