AUGUST 2026

Between WILD Events: Learning, Leadership & What’s Ahead

WILD’s work continues long after an event ends. This month’s newsletter highlights the members helping shape the organization, the value of learning beyond your own area of expertise and the events coming up next.

Help Shape What Comes Next

WILD is looking for members who want to contribute their experience, strengthen relationships across the network and help develop future programs and resources.

Committee opportunities are available in:

Programming - Help plan educational workshops, networking opportunities and signature WILD events.

Membership - Welcome new members, support engagement and help strengthen WILD’s national network.

Partnerships - Build relationships with companies and organizations that want to support WILD’s mission.

Social Media & Awareness - Share WILD’s story, recognize members and increase awareness of women working across the industrial sector.

Virtual Programming - Develop accessible education and networking opportunities for members across the country.

Your Lane Is a Starting Point, Not a Limit

Industrial projects depend on many connected disciplines, from brokerage and construction to logistics, engineering, finance and operations. Learning how those pieces work together helps professionals ask better questions, identify problems earlier and contribute more confidently across teams.

WILD’s latest Insights article explores why expanding your knowledge beyond your own role can make you a stronger teammate, advisor and leader while opening the door to new career opportunities.

Hard Hats & Headshots Is Almost Here

Join WILD on August 14 for a behind-the-scenes tour of three Northern Nevada industrial developments in different stages of construction. Attendees will hear from the teams involved, learn how projects move from planning to completion and update their professional headshot along the way.

The event is open to everyone and WILD membership is not required.
