SEPTEMBER 2026

Growing WILD: New Events, New Look & More

September brings a new look for WILD, the launch of our first WILD9 Golf Series, new ways for members to get involved and a look back at Hard Hats + Headshots. This month’s newsletter also features our latest WILD Insights article, upcoming events, partner recognition and opportunities to be part of what WILD is building.

Hard Hats + Headshots: From Groundbreaking to Lease-Up

WILD’s Hard Hats + Headshots Industrial Development Tour gave attendees a behind-the-scenes look at three Northern Nevada projects at different stages of development.

The tour began at Pioneer Meadows with LDK Ventures and Devcon Construction, continued through active construction at Kiley Commerce Center with Pinecrest Construction and concluded at Dermody’s Logisticenter at Kiley Ranch. The final stop included a tour of Belimo’s newly occupied space and professional headshots by photographer Jeramie Lu.

WILD9 Hits the Course This September

Our first WILD9 Golf Series kicks off September 10 and 17 with a skills clinic followed by nine holes each session.

The program was created to give women a comfortable place to learn the game, ask questions and build confidence on the course without feeling like they should already know how to play. It’s also a chance to spend time with industry peers and existing associates in a setting outside the usual workday.

No experience is required and club rentals are available.

WILD Has a New Look

As WILD grows from an idea into an established organization, our brand is growing with it.

We’ve updated the WILD look and launched a redesigned website that better reflects who we are today and where we’re headed. The new site makes it easier to explore membership, upcoming events, partnerships, WILD Insights and ways to get involved.

Get Involved with WILD Committees

Members looking to become more involved can help shape WILD programming, membership, partnerships and other initiatives throughout the year.

Committee participation is an opportunity to contribute your experience, work alongside other members and have a direct role in what WILD develops next.

Who Is WILD For?

Our latest WILD Insights article takes a closer look at the range of women who make up the organization, from supply chain, manufacturing and construction to engineering, architecture, real estate, finance, operations and more.

The article also explores the value of relationships across different areas of the industry and how WILD is expanding beyond Northern Nevada.

Partner Spotlight: Cindy Santilena, CCIM

This month, WILD recognizes Cindy Santilena, CCIM, Senior Vice President and Business Development Officer with Harvest Small Business Finance.

Cindy shares why she chose to sponsor WILD, how her work in SBA lending aligns with the organization’s mission and why she values practical education, strong relationships and greater visibility for women across the industry.

What’s Ahead

September brings both sessions of the WILD9 Golf Clinic Series, followed by WILD ConnectHER: Quick Connections on October 28, a virtual small-group networking event for women across industrial.

Watch for registration details, event announcements and more from WILD throughout the fall.
